September 2004 Expect the Best Premiere Golf continues its development programme in 2004
with a higher level of conference and seminar activities, an extremely cost-effective and streamlined exhibition element and expanded club trial day with an Industry / VIP Buyer Golf Tournament. The event will take place between November 1st and 4th 2004 at the Palacio de Congresos in Marbella. Conferences, which proved an immensely popular addition in 2003 and brought new groups of high quality visitors to Marbella, benefit from further development in 2004. Premiere Golf 2004 includes a new one-day event for golf equipment suppliers and retailers The Premiere Golf Industry Forum. Visitors to the event will include an invited VIP audience of 400 retailers and Professionals, selected from the best and most serious buyers in Europe, combined with conference delegates and local golf directors and shop managers. The event will be ‘appointment driven’ with exhibitor and visitor contact lists being circulated in advance of the event. The aim of the event is to: Premiere Golf Showcase – November 2-3 The Premiere Golf Showcase will be a two-day ‘appointment-driven’ event where key buyers can meet and do business with participating suppliers. In 2004 the event has been designed to provide participating companies with two solid days of appointments in a practical and well laid out venue at an exceptionally good value rate. Over 400 invited buyers will be subsidised with the provision of up to four nights complimentary accommodation. The guaranteed VIP Buyers will include group members from Europro Golf Centres, Nevada Bob’s and the National Golf Group. Other VIP buyers will be selected from our own database and from nominations made by participating companies. To help stimulate pre-booking of appointments, Premiere Golf will provide incentives to visitors. Buyers making a minimum of 10 appointments during the two-day event will be entered into a draw with prizes of holidays and luxury goods. A similar incentive programme will be in place for buyers placing orders with participating companies. Additional visitors will comprise delegates to the various conference elements, Andalucian golf directors and shop managers, independent trade visitors and media. Exhibition stands will be of standard sizes and format, complete with furniture, carpet, power and lighting. Three sizes will be available in 6, 20 and 40 square metre layouts. There will be a maximum of six 40sqm size stands and these will only be available to larger and multi-brand companies. The layout of the exhibition area will be uncrowded to provide a higher degree of privacy and to avoid narrow aisles. Central to the exhibition area will be a spacious seating area affording additional meeting space.
